1. Arabic Alphabet Mastery and Letter Form Recognition
Students learn all twenty-eight Arabic letters in their isolated, initial, medial, and final forms through systematic presentation and repetition exercises. The Arabic Learning Centre’s curriculum emphasizes the visual distinctions between similar letter shapes and teaches diagnostic features that enable rapid, accurate identification during reading tasks.
2. Arabic Vowel Systems and Diacritical Mark Interpretation
This module addresses short vowels (fatha, kasra, damma), long vowels (alif, waw, yaa), sukoon, shadda, and tanween through explicit instruction and controlled practice. Learners develop the ability to decode fully vowelized texts and gradually transition to reading partially vowelized and unvowelized materials as their Arabic vocabulary and morphological awareness increase.
